Backstory

Groom

Our story began on April 22, 2022, at a wedding where I was a groomsman and Elsa was a bridesmaid. We took pictures together, but we didn't really speak with each other. Over the course of the day, I noticed her having the time of her life on the dance floor, but I was mostly focused on my duties for the day. As the day was winding down and we were having a few discussions, she surprised me with a bold question: ā€œDo you have a girlfriend?ā€ (I did at the time, though it was complicated). That courage and her bubbling personality stuck with me. I reached out again on her birthday, and from there we started talking. What began as casual, lighthearted conversations soon turned into late-night chats, shared laughs, and a growing closeness that neither of us could ignore. Friendship blossomed into love—and the rest is the journey that brought us here. Now, we’re ready to write the next chapter of our love story as husband and wife.

Bride

I first saw Ade at a wedding in 2022. I was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsman. It was his back that drew my attention 😹 He was driving the bride and a couple of bridesmaids to the venue. I kept him in my mind for later. When the photographer told us to pair up for pictures, I linked our arms together and that's how we have a picture from our first meetingā˜ŗļø Fast forward to the after party, it was winding down and everyone was seated at a table and I just tapped the table to get his attention and asked if he was single. He said no guys 😹 I took my L and kept it moving. My birthday was a month later and he reached out to wish my happy birthday on Instagram. I didn't even pay attention to the handle and called him the wrong name🤣 We started texting and then a few weeks later, he invited me out for a chat. And I said 'ha, hope your girlfriend won't beat me o' and he confirmed that he was now single. And the rest they say, is history ✨ It's been three years of falling head over heels in love with my Chief. From day one, I was drawn to him like a magnet and safe to say, the pull has only gotten stronger 🩷
